Diese Halterung ist komplett aus Kunststoff und nicht wie erwartet bzw. von den anderen Halterungen gewohnt aus Metall. Insbesondere die SPC Halteplatte zur drehbaren Handyhalterung ist kleiner und der Kunststoff gibt auf Dauer (~2 Jahre) nach. Das hat zur Folge dass die Verbindung zwischen Motorrad-Halterung und Handy-Halterung genau an der Verbindungsstelle nicht mehr bündig ist und zu wackeln anfängt. Insbesondere bei Kopfsteinplaster oder Geländestrecken könnte sich die Halterung eventuell komplett lösen.
Als WorkAround habe ich die Kunststoff Halteplatte gegen eine größere aus Metall (mit passender Zahnkranz-Zwischenlegscheibe) von einer anderen Motorradhalterung ausgetauscht. Oder man tauscht sie gleich gegen die (sehr mächtige) Anti-Vibrationsplatte aus.
Letztendlich ist der Mirror Mount Pro wohl die bessere Lösung, obwohl auch der wieder sehr viel größer ist.

Ik heb een nieuwe ontvangen omdat ik met de eerste pech had. Na het melden binnen 4 dagen een nieuwe binnen. Gemonteerd en super blij met het eindresultaat. Super service en mooi product.

Ich habe sehr viele Halterungen ausprobiert, doch die von SP Connect schlägt sie alle. Etwas besseres habe ich noch nie besessen.
Bin sehr zufrieden, benutze den Mirror Mount schon seit Jahren auf verschiedenen langen Motorrad-Touren. Keine Probleme...
Macht einen guten Eindruck wie alle SP Produkte, jedoch noch nicht in der Praxis getestet.

Purtroppo non può essere montato con la cover. Dal momento che ho lo smartphone sullo stelo dello specchietto fissato mediante vostra cover, lo smartphone stesso non può essere protetto dalla pioggia.

The captive nut inside the shell did not hold and kept spinning instead of tightening up!
I am very disappointed with this part of the mount as I am abroad in Bosnia and I had to get a relative to send to me at a cost of £20 plus local tact, I won’t bother sending it back as it’s costly and inconvenient for me.
I was really disappointed with it as the system looks great, if you want to make amends and keep a customer, you could send me a new mount?
If so please let me know and I will send you the address for the replacement.

Sehr gute Qualität, ich bin super zufrieden.
Halter ist halt eingeschränkt beweglich (war mir bewusst bei Kauf). Hab ihn für meine Vespa Spiegel geholt. Durch die Position der Spiegel schaut das Telefon allerdings extrem nach innen und nicht zum Fahrer. Ich rate hier zur Pro Version, die ist besser einstellbar aber halt recht teuer.
Simpel maar werkt super goed !
Gute Befestigung am Rollerspiegel bin zufrieden.

Using on my Honda XRV750: The plastic can not be fastened properly on the bar. 1.5Nm are definitly not enough to ensure that it holds. I tried it and it used to slip all the time. Also the spacers are not of good quality. They are too hard, thus they even worsen the problem of the clamp slipping on the bar.
Maybe the pro version is better.
I would recommen SP to improve the design by using softer material for the spacers, aluminum for the clamp and increasing the length of the clamp to prevent slipping.
